Sexual Health Information

This section covers sex and relationships as well as information on contraception, sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy and termination.

Young People

Having sex without a condom can lead to pregnancy and can put you at risk of picking up a sexually transmitted infection (STI).

LGBTQ+

All our services are LGBTQ+ friendly and you are welcome to make use of any of these that you need.

Contraception

There are many different methods of contraception for you to choose from.

Sexually Transmitted Infections

They are passed on by vaginal, anal or oral sex without a condom or by genital skin contact.

HIV / Blood Borne Viruses

HIV is an infection that can weaken your immune system, meaning you’re more likely to become unwell with other harmful infections and some cancers.

Menopause

The menopause is when menstrual periods stop. Periods usually start to become less frequent over a few months or years before they stop altogether.

Termination of Pregnancy

The decision to have an abortion may not be easy and talking to people you trust and making sure you have accurate information and support can help.

Sexual Problems

Our sexual problems service might be able to help you understand why you might have a problem and support you in making changes to improve your sex life.

Premenstrual Syndromes

Changes in your body’s hormone levels before your period can cause physical and emotional changes.

Learning Disability
