Our Services

Our services are for anyone in Tayside aged 13 and up who want support or care for their sexual health.  We provide a confidential and non-judgmental service for everyone.

Young people have the same right to confidentiality as adults.  We will only ever  share information about you  if we are worried that you or someone else are at risk.  This would be discussed with you before any information is shared.

  • If you live in Dundee or Angus The Corner Young People’s Service (13-19 years) has a Dundee drop in Mon-Fri 1pm-6pm. Other appointments are available please call 01382 206060 or access The Corner Website for more information or to speak to a nurse.
  • We are restarting our young people’s walk in at Drumhar Health Centre.

The walk in will run from 4pm – 6pm every Monday (except public holidays), for 13 to 18 year olds. Please arrive by 4:45pm to make sure that we have enough time to see you.

We are offering STI testing and contraception such as condoms, contraceptive pills, implants etc.

Alternatively, young people can phone triage (01382 425 542 Monday-Friday 9am-12pm) and be booked an appointment in any clinic.

  • You are also welcome to use services the same way as anyone else. Some services can be booked – Appointments or call  01382 425542 Monday – Friday between 9 am and 12 noon.

  • If phoning it’s better if you are somewhere where you can talk in private.

If you can’t get to clinic because you can’t afford to travel, you can get support from the Archie foundation. Click on “get support” and fill in the short application form.  If you need help with this, speak with your triage nurse and we will help you with this.

Why is it important for me to take care of my sexual health?

Having sex without a condom can lead to pregnancy and can put you at risk of picking up a sexually transmitted infection (STI). STIs don’t always have symptoms so you might not know if you have one.  If these are not treated, some of these can cause long term health problems.  You may also be able to pass these on to others.  Using a condom during sex can prevent these problems.

If you do not want to get pregnant, it is important to think about contraception.  For information about the following issues, click on the links below:
